This year was my first time going to London Design Biennale, which has taken place between 4-23 September 2018 at Somerset House, set across the whole of it, including outdoor courtyard and riverside spaces. 40 countries, cities and territories has exhibited in response of various ways to conceive emotions.
It was a mixed of emotions and one of the exciting thing about this event is that you have many cultural influences and ways of viewing the world.
So I could get inspiration from countries and each has left something interesting for my future projects.
I was particularly fascinated by the Australian installation. The work is a reaction to and celebration of Australia’s decision to allow same-sex marriage at the end of last year.”There is a new wave of what love means in Australia since the vote in December last year and I wanted to celebrate with my rainbow coloured light installation and try to connect people with this feeling,” said Talbot (designer of this installation). It was very funny playing with this strands of coloured fibre optic lights and standing within to be bathed in technicolour light.
Following, you can find some photos of #LDB18.

It has been an amazing experience… I really enjoyed it!
